Who Was Jack London?

He was a writer and adventurer
who built "The House Of Happy Walls" in the
heart of a redwood grove

and a dream home called "Wolf House" that at the completion of construction (15,000 sq. ft) burnt down in 1913.
Cause of the fire is unknown

His property sits on 1,400 acres of land he called, "Beauty Ranch" and includes cottage, stables, stone barns, silos, dam, lake, bathhouse, pig palace
and acres of terraced grapevines.
Nearby, in Glen Ellen
we dined on fresh garden vegetables,
pot roast and fresh fish
