A chairlift up
to the Royal Elk Trail
started out rocky
So, Jim went on the prowl for walking sticks
and he snapped them to the perfect length
which helped us navigate through the woods
and the meadows
and the wildflowers
We were proud when we
finally made it to the lake
Our next challenge was 3 rocky miles downhill
Never under-estimate the will
of a man/woman to
go up again
for a beer
and a whole new perspective
